Summary
CVE-2026-22095 is a critical unauthenticated command injection vulnerability in the network diagnosis endpoint of the EVbee DC-80 DC fast charging station’s built-in web server, running on port 8090. A remote, unauthenticated attacker can send a specially crafted HTTP request to this endpoint to execute arbitrary operating system commands on the device. Disclosed on July 10, 2026 as part of DIVD advisory DIVD-2026-00001, the flaw carries a CVSS 4.0 score of 9.3 (Critical) and affects all DC-80 firmware versions prior to V1.5.1.
Technical details
- Root cause: Improper neutralization of special elements in a command (CWE-77) in the network diagnosis endpoint exposed by the web server on port 8090.
- Trigger conditions: No authentication, no user interaction, and no complex preconditions are required — a single crafted HTTP request to the vulnerable diagnosis endpoint is sufficient to trigger command execution.
- Attack vector: Network-accessible HTTP endpoint on port 8090 of the charging station’s management web interface. The EVbee DC-80 is internet-connected by design for OCPP-based remote management and diagnostics, meaning this port may be directly reachable from the internet in a significant subset of deployments.
- Impact: Successful exploitation grants full control over the charging station’s operating system — enabling arbitrary command execution, disruption or manipulation of charging operations, potential access to connected internal networks (e.g., OCPP backend infrastructure), and full compromise of confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the device.

Mitigation and recommended actions
- Immediate — apply vendor patch: Update the EVbee DC-80 firmware to version V1.5.1 or later. DIVD’s advisory recommends ensuring the charging station has active internet connectivity so that it can receive the firmware update.
- If immediate patching is not possible: Apply network-level controls (firewall rules or network segmentation) to restrict inbound access to port 8090 on affected devices, limiting reachability to trusted management networks or IP addresses only.
