Summary

CVE-2026-7488 is a high-severity sensitive information disclosure vulnerability affecting IKAS Technology Inc.’s E-Commerce SaaS platform, classified under CWE-201 (Insertion of Sensitive Information Into Sent Data). With a CVSS v3.1 base score of 7.5 (HIGH), the flaw allows unauthenticated, remote attackers to retrieve embedded sensitive data from internet-exposed storefronts — requiring no privileges and no user interaction. The vulnerability was disclosed on July 17, 2026 via TR-CERT (Turkey’s National Computer Emergency Response Center) under advisory TR-26-0572, and was discovered by security researcher Muhammed Taha YILMAZ.

Technical details

  • Root cause: The platform inserts sensitive information into data transmitted over the network (CWE-201). This data is retrievable by any unauthenticated party who can reach the storefront, consistent with the CAPEC-37 attack pattern (Retrieve Embedded Sensitive Data).
  • Trigger conditions: No authentication, no special configuration, and no user interaction are required to trigger the vulnerability. The low attack complexity (AC:L) means exploitation requires no race condition, special state, or prerequisite beyond network access to a target storefront.
  • Attack vector: Fully network-exploitable (AV:N). Any internet-facing ikas-powered storefront is potentially reachable without restriction.
  • Impact: High confidentiality impact (C:H); no integrity or availability impact is reported. Because ikas is a cloud-hosted SaaS platform serving customer storefronts across the public internet, all internet-exposed storefronts built on the platform fall within the potential impact radius.

Organizations running ikas-powered storefronts should contact IKAS Technology Inc. directly to confirm whether their storefront environment has been updated beyond the affected version range (through 03062026) and to obtain remediation confirmation in writing.
  • Exposure review: Customers should assess whether sensitive data may have been accessible from their storefront prior to vendor remediation and evaluate any potential downstream impact, including data exposure to third parties.
  • No public workaround available: No customer-side workaround has been published. If your organization has strict data-exposure compliance requirements, consult with IKAS support on interim controls while awaiting confirmation of full remediation.
