IONIX is a pioneer in EASM, an emerging area in cybersecurity dedicated to helping organizations uncover vulnerabilities in their external attack surface. As Senior Field Marketing Manager, you will drive the execution of field events and activities at IONIX. You’ll manage programs including large tradeshows, smaller local events, and virtual events in order to develop new pipeline and build the IONIX brand around the globe. The ideal candidate is incredibly organized and detail-oriented, super-creative, comfortable working closely with sales, product marketing and finance, and a strong enough writer to support field programs with things like landing page and ad copy. Candidates who are in a security industry field-marketing role and want to expand their scope and skill set would do well to apply – as the sole field marketer at IONIX, you will have the opportunity to build the program and grow along with it. This role reports directly to the CMO.
Organize IONIX’s five planned 2024 tradeshows and 10+ local field events – soup to nuts.
Juggle many local events per year, meet deadlines for all, with in-person travel to approximately half of the events.
Ensure that our events represent our brand, with consistency of messaging, creativity and professional execution every time.
Present, manage and optimize quarterly field marketing plans and budget, and participate in regular sales meetings to provide monthly reporting on field metrics.
Work collaboratively with Americas and global teams and build cross functional relationships.
Work with finance to manage budget, invoicing, and payment processes.
Drive execution to exceed demand metrics and quantify program impact (ROI, pipeline, funnel metrics).
Own and build out plan for 2025 field marketing and beyond.
Demonstrated success in planning and executing successful field marketing campaigns and events for a security industry B2B company.
Excellent project management and organizational skills.
Creativity and attention to detail
Mother-tongue English, German a plus
Ability to travel, sometimes as much as one week a month (our tradeshow season is May-August).
Strong understanding of B2B marketing, lead generation, and sales processes.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Ability to work independently from your home – IONIX does not have an East Coast, US office.
