Summary

CVE-2026-11374 is a critical account takeover vulnerability affecting ManageEngine ADSelfService Plus, RecoveryManager Plus, M365 Manager Plus, and ADAudit Plus when these products are deployed as integrated components within ManageEngine AD360. The flaw allows an unauthenticated remote attacker to predict valid SSO session tickets, enabling full takeover of any targeted user’s account. With a CVSS v3.1 base score of 9.0 (Critical), the vulnerability requires no privileges or user interaction to exploit.

Technical details

  • Root cause: When the four affected products are integrated with ManageEngine AD360 for single sign-on, the SSO tickets generated to authenticate a session are cryptographically weak and can be predicted by an unauthenticated attacker.
  • Trigger condition: Exploitation requires the targeted deployment to be running AD360 SSO integration — a common enterprise configuration, though not the default standalone mode.
  • Attack vector: Network-accessible (AV:N) with no authentication required (PR:N) and no user interaction needed (UI:N), allowing fully remote exploitation.
  • Impact: A successful attacker who predicts a valid SSO ticket obtains the targeted user’s identity and role information, resulting in complete account takeover. The Changed scope (S:C) and High ratings across Confidentiality, Integrity, and Availability reflect the potential for cross-component compromise across the entire AD360-integrated environment.

  • RecoveryManager Plus — build 6320 and earlier
  • M365 Manager Plus — build 4816 and earlier
  • ADAudit Plus — build 8702 and earlier

All four products are affected only when deployed as integrated components with ManageEngine AD360.

Mitigation and recommended actions

  • Immediate action — apply the following fixed builds released by ManageEngine:
    • ADSelfService Plus → upgrade to build 6529 (released June 3, 2026)
    • RecoveryManager Plus → upgrade to build 6321 (released June 5, 2026)
    • M365 Manager Plus → upgrade to build 4817 (released June 10, 2026)
    • ADAudit Plus → upgrade to build 8703 (released June 12, 2026)
  • The fix strengthens the SSO ticket generation mechanism so that tickets can no longer be predicted by an unauthenticated attacker.
  • If immediate patching is not possible, organizations should assess whether AD360 SSO integration is enabled and consider temporarily restricting internet access to the affected portals until patched builds can be deployed.
