Summary

CVE-2026-12694 is a critical Missing Authorization vulnerability (CWE-862) in Vimesoft Inc. Enterprise Video Platform, affecting all versions from 3.11.0.0 up to (but not including) 3.25.0. The flaw allows unauthenticated remote attackers to access protected functionality that is not properly constrained by access control lists (ACLs), with no authentication or user interaction required. The vulnerability carries a CVSS v3.1 score of 9.1 (Critical) and was disclosed on July 17, 2026 via advisory TR-26-0574 issued by the Computer Emergency Response Team of the Republic of Turkey (TR-CERT).

Technical details

  • Root cause: Missing authorization enforcement (CWE-862) — the platform fails to apply proper access control checks on certain functionality, enabling requests to bypass ACL restrictions entirely without presenting credentials (CAPEC-1: Accessing Functionality Not Properly Constrained by ACLs).
  • Trigger conditions: No authentication, no elevated privileges, and no user interaction are required. The vulnerable functionality is reachable directly over the network with low attack complexity.
  • Attack vector: Network-accessible (AV:N), low complexity (AC:L), no privileges required (PR:N), no user interaction (UI:N), scope unchanged (S:U).
  • Impact: Successful exploitation results in high integrity impact — an unauthenticated attacker can modify or manipulate platform data and operations — and high availability impact, enabling disruption or denial of service to the platform. Confidentiality is not directly impacted per the CVSS scoring.

Mitigation and recommended actions
