Summary

CVE-2026-56060 is a high-severity Unauthenticated Sensitive Data Exposure vulnerability in the Print Invoice & Delivery Notes for WooCommerce WordPress plugin by Tyche Softwares, affecting all versions up to and including 7.1.1. The flaw enables unauthenticated remote attackers to access sensitive customer and order information with no credentials required, earning a CVSS v3.1 score of 7.5 (HIGH). A patched version (7.1.2) has been released and immediate upgrade is strongly recommended.

Technical details

  • Root cause: Improper protection of sensitive document endpoints, classified under CWE-497 (Exposure of Sensitive System Information to an Unauthorized Control Sphere), allowing unauthenticated retrieval of invoice and delivery note data generated by the plugin.
  • Trigger conditions: No authentication, no user interaction, and no special privileges are required — any remote actor with HTTP/HTTPS access to an affected WordPress site can exploit this vulnerability.
  • Attack vector: Network-based; exploitable remotely over standard web requests to the vulnerable plugin’s endpoints.
  • Impact: High confidentiality impact — invoices and delivery notes managed by the plugin contain customer PII, including billing information, shipping addresses, and order details, all of which can be accessed by unauthorized parties.

Mitigation and recommended actions

  • Immediate: Update the plugin to version 7.1.2 or later. The patched release is available from the official WordPress plugin repository. At the time of publication, version 7.2.0 is available for download.
  • If immediate patching is not feasible: Consider temporarily deactivating the plugin or applying web server or WAF rules to restrict unauthenticated access to invoice and delivery note document endpoints until the update can be applied.
