Summary

CVE-2026-61089 is a high-severity improper access control vulnerability affecting Oracle PeopleSoft Enterprise SCM Inventory version 9.2. The flaw resides in the Security component and allows unauthenticated, remote attackers to gain unauthorized access to sensitive supply chain inventory data via HTTP, with no credentials or user interaction required. It was disclosed as part of Oracle’s July 2026 Critical Patch Update and carries a CVSS v3.1 base score of 8.2 (HIGH).

  • Root cause: Improper access control (CWE-284) in the Security component of Oracle PeopleSoft Enterprise SCM Inventory, permitting requests to bypass authentication and authorization checks.
