Summary

CVE-2026-61163 is a missing/improper authentication vulnerability in the Forge component of Oracle Commerce Guided Search / Oracle Commerce Experience Manager version 11.4.0, disclosed as part of Oracle’s July 21, 2026 Critical Patch Update. Technical details

  • Root cause: Missing authentication for a critical function (CWE-306) and improper authentication (CWE-287) in the Forge component — Oracle Commerce Guided Search’s core data processing and indexing pipeline engine. The flaw allows attackers to interact with protected Forge functionality without valid credentials.

Mitigation and recommended actions
