Summary

CVE-2026-35301 is a critical unauthenticated remote code execution vulnerability in Oracle WebLogic Server, published on June 16, 2026 as part of Oracle’s June 2026 Critical Security Patch Update. Technical details

  • Root cause: An exploitable flaw in the Oracle WebLogic Server Console component that is reachable over HTTP without prior authentication.
  • Trigger conditions: An unauthenticated attacker with network access to the WebLogic Server Console via HTTP can send crafted requests to trigger the vulnerability — no user interaction or elevated privileges are required.
  • Attack vector: Network-reachable (AV:N), low attack complexity (AC:L), no privileges required (PR:N), no user interaction (UI:N).
  • Impact: Successful exploitation results in complete compromise of the target WebLogic Server instance, with high impact on confidentiality, integrity, and availability. The Changed Scope (S:C) metric indicates the attack can affect resources beyond the vulnerable component itself, consistent with full server takeover and potential lateral movement within the hosting environment.

Mitigation and recommended actions
